1. Colours used.

The logo of the Daiso is usually presented in Red colour. Also, the main Daiso website has the yellow layout. Therefore maroon, yellow, and light golden yellow are used to develop the Daiso online store website.

1. Introduction

     As growth of the internet users and development of the internet grows rapidly, it is important for the brands to do the marketing and advertisings through the websites. Most of people, especially young generations are very familiar to the internet services, therefore most of the brands are willing to do a strong marketing and operates the online stores as well.


    2. Web analysis : Daiso



     Daiso is well known as a largest franchise of 100-yen shop in Japan. It has over 100,000 of various types of goods. Over 2,500 stores are available in Japan, and also 522 stores in overseas. As it grows bigger, famous and operates world widely, the strong marketing and advertising are significantly needed. Website and online advertising is one of the most important method of marketing as the growth and development of the internet system and users are increasing. Currently, Daiso operates online store, and this website is chosen to analysis and develop.

    2.1 What is SWOT?
     SWOT is an important tool of strategy plan. It is used to evaluate the factors of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the brand to analysis the SWOT of the brand to develop the strengths, reduce the weaknesses, use the opportunities, and suppress the threats. It affects even in the website of the brand by their design, layout, practicality, efficiency and neatness as well. Well organized and edited websites help people to understand the products and intend of the brands too. 
    2.2 Daiso website : SWOT

    • Strengths : Well known brand. Easy to access

     Daiso operates number of stores world widely, and well known as a best 100 Yen shop, therefore it is easy to access through internet.
    • Weaknesses : Difficult to browse the website. Complicated layout. 

     The website contains too many words, and it is not briefed neatly. Complicated layout and old styled design is weakness of this website.
    • Opportunities : Improvement in website. 
     Improved in design, utility as well as briefed website can attract the customers. 
    • Threats : Weakness of the online shopping user.
     As Daiso sells the products in cheap price, and located widely, it will be difficult to target the customers through online shopping. Because the stores are easy to get with low price.

    2.3 Detailed analysis of the website
    • Function of the website
     The Daiso website is made to introduce the new product lines, find out the store locations, and also online shopping as well. Consumers visit the website and browse for the new products and also order through online. It helps those customers who do not have time to visit the actual store, also effective for those who are looking for the nearest store.
    • Target audience
     As Daiso is well known as the best 100 Yen store, people visit the store to get various types of products in cheap price. They afford from stationary products, kitchen products, to fashion apparels, and this advantage affects the customers who likes to purchase the various items in cheap price. Also, online stores are available for them.
    • Areas of improvement
     The website can improve the design, layout, and font styles neatly. Also, the website can be organized in more short forms, with very clear and briefed words. It will be helpful for the consumers to browse.
